Does one have to get shock relocators?

You lifting or lowering? I put Bilsteins on my Tahoe, love the way they ride.

You don't have to get extensions if you'd rather just replace the shock for an upgrade. There are several companies that offer shorter shocks for our trucks lowered. Nitro shocks, DJM cal-max, and Toxic are some.

I'm running Bilsteins (Blue & Yellow shocks) on my lowered Z71. The ride was harsh in the rear so I installed a set of Bell Tech shock extenders. The ride is a lot better now. There was hardly no rebound with the 3" lowering coils. Much better now though...
