How long can they last?

I have a 99 Tahoe LT 4x4. I bought it in 2000 with 19k miles. This week it should turn over the 170k mark. I have taken pride in maintenance and repairs as needed. I have been wondering what the lifespan on these might be.

What is the highest odometer reading on this vintage Tahoe or Suburban you have seen? I realize that regular maintenance is key, and have no problem with that.

I am thinking of driving it until it is hardly worth its weight in scrap metal. Sort of curious just how long that might be.

I bet if you wanted to you could get at least 300k on it if you took care of it.

My '99 2 door 4x4 Sport has 233,000 miles on it. Take care of it and it will take care of you!:thumbsup:

My yukon has 297000 miles on it.
Wash it regularly.
Regular maintenance is key.
