Transmission

My nephew has a 99 Tahoe. He hit a big bump in the road and now his transmission is slipping. I don't know if it is coincidence or he did something. The only code the computer showed was transmission slipping. Is there anything that could have been disconnected when he hit the bump? I saw no fluid leaks and the fluid level is fine.

i would say get a good tranny shop to drop the pan and change your fluid filter. while they have the pan off they can look for any obvious damage. there is also a valve body update for the 4L60E transmission which cures the slippage code. this may or not be your problem, but its only an $80 kit so it's worth a look.
