I have a 07 LTZ 4x4 with the rear auto ride. I was thinking about getting the 2" front leveling kit to get 305-50-20 or 305-55-20 tires, but I heard these rub. I don't like the front end sitting higher than the rear so I would like to get around a 1" of lift out of the rear. What options would be available for the rear with the auto ride. Thanks for any help.

You could always go with a 1.5 inch leveling kit. I have the ReadyLift 1.5 inch kit with 285/70/17 BFG TAKOs and i'm sitting just about level. If anything, the rear is still .25-.5 inch taller.

I know someone makes a 1 inch rear spacer, cant remember the brand off the top of my head, but there are some guys around here running that setup too.

I also have a 07 Tahoe LTZ 4x4 autoride and went with a 2" leveling kit and 305/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have a little sag in the rear that is roughly 1/2" lower. I have no rubbing issues with the 305/50/20 = 32x12x20, since it is closer the the stock size 275/55/20 = 32x10.80x20. The 305/55/20 = 33x12x20 and most likely will rub. I had posted a similar thread with some information you might be looking for. http://www.tahoeforum.com/showthread.php?t=10902

As ucsbguy19 mentioned, you can go with a 1 1/2 leveling kit or, go with the 2" and kit for the rear. Suspension Maxx makes a rear kit in 1" or 1 1/2". Suspension Maxx also makes a front leveling kit that is adjustable from 1 1/2", 2", and 2 1/2". I am not sure if the rear leveling kit will work on autoride vehicles, but something you might want to look into. http://www.suspensionmaxx.com/tahoe2008.html

thanks guys. Yeah I was plannin on the 305-50-20 size so I didn't run into any problems. I know they make spacers to go into the rear coils but with the auto ride that wipes out that option. Thinkin about 1" shackles but I've heard horror stories of them twisting while towing. Any experiences you've heard.

haven't done much research on the autoride... im running an LT1. too bad the z71s dont come from the factory with a 2 inch lift and 33s.

i wish there was a 4 inch lift that wasn't so $$$$$. i'd love to run 35s but dont have 4-5k to spend on a lift/wheels/tires.
