new here,
hello all

my 98 tahoe has been doing some strange things lately
if you move the tilt wheel all the up the headlights go out!
this morning it would not start, not a battery problem just nothing happening.
after moving the wheel up and down and moving the shift lever to neutral and back to park a few times ,it started right up.
i am thinking neutral saftey switch ?
loose wire in the column causing the lights to go off.
any such experience out there?

thanks in advance

More than likely a broken wire or loose ground inside the steering column. You know if you don't fix it fast it will strand you somewhere.
