Diesel my Tahoe

I know this may sound completely impractable but I was wondering if anyone has put a Diesel engine in a 2001 or newer Tahoe. I was also wondering about any other engine options I would have.

I've seen hopped up 12 valve Cummins engines in everything from a 95 GMC 1 ton to a 03 Avalanche 2500... They are an easy swap, but you've got to seriously beef up the front suspension to handle the weight.

Yeah a friend of mine told me that a dodge engine was a option, I just wasn't too sure on how easy the swap would be. Thanks for the info.
