Does the DIC track the wheel position, so if I rotate, it's going to follow the wheel ?

Probably will but with comps these days who knows.

computer track wheel position?

In a word, nope. You have to go thru a relearn procedure specified in the owners manual.

Rotated tires,

Started relearn process as defined in the manual. Started with LF, horn chirped as supposed to. Went to RF , nothing happens.

Restarted process, let air out this time, LF chirps, RF does nothing.

Vehicle has 8700 miles on it and this is the first rotate.

DIC shows correct pressure for LF, rest are ????

Any Ideas ?

NVM,

Evidently, there is a short pause between acknowledgement of each wheel and the next position.

I was going too quickly to the next wheel.

Once I waited about 10 to 15 seconds AFTER the horn chirp, and then changed the pressure it worked fine.

Thanks for all the help :smilielol:

Does anybody know if we are supposed to do a 4 or 5 tire rotation?

My manual states that there can be a 30 sec delay in chirp.

5 tire rotation can be owners option. I've always went with the 4 tire deal. Manual probably states to go with the 5.

Of course I'll go and look it up, but what's a 5-tire rotation? Is that the criss-cross and to-the-back deal? Or am I just totally dense?

Also your spare tire does not a TPMS so your DIC will tell to check your tires.
