Ipod/Iphone

I have been considering a video Ipod for my Tahoe for a while especially after a recent long trip w/kids. My question is since I am out of contract with my Razr would it be smarter to go w/ the Iphone rather than buying two gadgets. Can it do everything an Ipod can do on my Nav system. Or is memory going to be the problem with movies? Sorry for long question, just trying to save a few $$ THANKS

I believe that the high end IPOD has significantly more memory than an iphone.

iphone comes in either a 4gb or 8gb models. If you are looking to put movies and music on it the 80gb ipod is definitely the way to go. And from most of the reviews they say its just a better looking ipod and not much of a phone.
