I want to install a Motorola 1000 Bluetooth kit in my 2008 Tahoe LTZ. It has the Bose radio with Onstar and NAV. I am using the Peripheral GMCSS3 harness so it should be a simple plug and go.

They problem is I cannot figure out how to get the radio out so that I can plug the harness in.

Any help is appreciated.

You have to pry off the trim around the radio. Theres a video on how to do it. Search the forum for 'lock pick'

But, just get a small screwdriver in the crease, theres about 7 clips that hold the trim on all around the radio and temp controls.

It'll feel like you're breaking the trim, but I've taken it off a couple time on 2 different Tahoes and it doesn't break, just pry it off slowly.

Then, theres 4 bolts that hold in the radio, but you have to take the climate control and acc buttons off first. You'll see once you get the trim piece off.
