Have any of you experienced or have the McGaughy's Lowering kit for the Tahoe. I have an 2WD 2007 LTZ that i would like to lower 2 front 3 rear (the kit they make is 2/3) How does this affect the ride of such a big truck. I had a lowered 2005 Ram Hemi (drove like a sled.....was lowered on DJM suspension, also had a 3/5 drop) I dont want to loose to much of the ride quality the Tahoe came with from factory, but wont mind stiffening it up a bit. My last car (2005 Maxima) which i traded in for the Tahoe, was lowered with KYB shocks all around and Lowering springs...Great performace ride..but too stiff.
So my questions are:

How much should this lowering kit cost installed?
How does it ride on a scale 1-5?
Would you leave it on the stock 20's? Lowered?
Or put 24's and lower it?
Wheel Travel?Ability to swallow bumps and pot holes?
Any rubbing issues?
Towing? Can you tow (Have autoride?)

Any one please chime in and give me your .02

Thanks

One thing is for sure, when you lower a vehicle by using shorter springs, it will have a stiffer ride because the spring has to have a higher rate to prevent bottoming out.
