there is a rubber grommet on the driver side below the break booster... it is easy to get from the inside of the car.

I few other things to conceder are….. What are you running the amp to? If this is going to be for mids and highs I strongly suggest running down the passenger side of the truck. This will prevent any interference from the factory truck wiring, fuel pump, brake lights and all the other sh!t that is run down the driver’s side. This should eliminate the need for a ground loop isolator.
If the amp is just for subs then it won’t matter much as the high frequencies won’t be reproduced if you have it crossed over correctly.

Huh? Got me lost....

Just for my Amp.

Here my install info.

Run Wire from Battery to amp.

Then hook up the RCA's from Subs to Deck.
Ground Wire in seat bracket
Run the Remote line from Deck to Amp.

Missing something?

Where are you mounting the amp? What will the amp be powering? (i.e. mids and highs OR SUBS?)

Might also think about a stiffening cap, these alternators kind of suck and if you have not done the ‘big 3’ your lights will dim every time the bass hits…. What I’m getting at is do some research and do it right the first time. You will be much happier.
This might give you some ideas.....

i have stock alternator with 2 batts, a 2 farad cap and a 2200 watt rms amp. and my lights dont dim. since its a bass amp, just run the power thru the grommet previously stated, down the side of the truck to the amp, as well as all the wires you stated.
