New Hoe Navigation Freeze

Just got a new Hoe and the navigation would freeze here and there. It would freeze for lengths of time and I wouldn't be able to do anything with it. Anybody else have an issue like this? Is there a way to reset it while driving? Or anybody else experience issues like this? What's the fix?

Never had that happen. Does it freeze only when doing something related to navigation? (i.e. not when changing radio stations, etc?) If so, it might be a bad DVD and the unit is having trouble reading it. Any scratches, etc on the disk?

How do you get to the disc? Yes, it's only when doing navigation functions that it freezes.

Go in to the menu function, then Nav. There's a menu pick that will allow you to open the DVD slot by flipping the screen. Then you pick the eject button.
