2001 vs Viper 5900, almost everything stopped working

before i hooked up doorlocks, everything was working fine, after door triggers, shocksensor, and arming chirp stopped working, what is going on


and it says i have to diode isolate drivers/passendger door triggers, what exactly is that yes im a noob

im not 100% sure but i think a diode is like a one way street.....only lets electricity pass one way and not backfeed......someone please correct me if i am wrong
