looking for basic remote start

I have a 2008 tahoe LT . It does not have the factory remote starter . So I am looking for a Basic remote starter ... nothing fancy , just want to be able to start the vehicle from inside the house and have the heater on so the ice and snow can start to melt. I saw something in another post that said that the gm remote start does not turn these on, even if left turned on .... any help would be appreciated .
If anyone can recomend a shop in the Northern NJ area that is reputable and not break the bank , let me know

I had mine done at the dealer (factory kit). If I leave my heat on when I turn it off it does come on when I remote start it. The truck is nice and warm when I get in.
