I have a 06 2wd tahoe police. I was snooping around prior to lowering this a bit 2/3. How close are the front bump stops supposed to be at factory height. Mine are already touching.

They're fine, GM calls them jounce stops and they are supposed to rest on them at ride height. I trimmed mine slightly after the drop.

Thanks Boost. I was able to drop the front a bit but have to get the keys in it.
