I've been noticing that my gas gauge needle is rapidly fluttering back and forth - almost a blur. Since I was having a new fuel pump put in anyway, I thought they could run down the problem. Didn't happen! Still doing it.

Now, in addition, the dome/interior lights have come on and stay on! I noticed it the other night when I tapped on the brakes and they came on. At first it was intermittant, but now they stay on all the time. The only way to turn them off is to depress the "dome override" button.

Anybody got any ideas? Ring any bells? Computer?

the fuel sending unit usually makes that gas needle flicker. if you changed the fuel pump that usually does the trick because the sending unit and the pump come as one piece. i've also found that the door pins usually go bad. find out which one it is and that should solve your problem
