I'm a noob here and am about to purchase a 2002 Tahoe LT with 100k miles. My question is can I get a drop down DVD player even though I have a sun roof?

How much would it cost installed?

Or should I go with the backrest players?

I would prefer not to pay alot, so that is my stipulation.

Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the site.

With that out of the way, I have a 2002 Suburban with a sunroof. I also have a 7 or 9" drop down dvd screen. It is placed directly infront of the rear heat/ac controls. No issues whatsoever.

thanks for the info, could you post a picture?

Also, do you have any issues with skipping and things like that?

Eventhough, my truck is not among the softest riding, the Farenheit DVD player has yet to skip a beat. And considering the roads around here suck, especially now during winter, that's a pretty good testament.

Here are some pics

looks great! what did it cost to have it installed/bought? unless you got the truck with it already installed.

I bought the truck with it already installed. However, I did insatll an AUDIOVOX drop down DVD player on my wifes Caravan.

It's not really that hard. The hardest thing for me was routing the wires.
