From my experience with a 95 tahoe, it is not too bad. I just had to take out the factory body mount bolts and put the spacer in, replace bolts with new bolts that come with the kit. I had to make sure the brake lines for the e brake were out of the way, metal lines for front brakes, and fuel filler tube was extended. The kit should come with a bracket to change the angle of the steering shaft. The hardest part on mine was the front bumper repositioning. I think the kits for the newer tahoes come with front and rear bumper kits, though. I used the redneck way to lift my body up while installing my lift.....a 4x4 piece of wood and a couple of floor jacks worked great!!! Hope this may help a little bit.
