Rear tail lights

has anyone painted their rear tail light. i don't like the amber look and i wanted to paint it red. does anyone know what kind of paint to get.

I would try your local body shop,I had mine done once with black and clear mix to smoke them out and it worked great with a few coats you can adjust the darkness,but to make it red I think they would make a mix of red and clearcoat you dont want to spray direct red because it might not be transparent,I think they do make something in a can but your takeing a chance of srewing up the light,I dont know how good that stuff is and how it looks ,well anyway good luck!
