A few weeks ago I took my Tahoe for it very first "big" pull. I've pulled my single car open trailer many times with no issues, but this weekend we stepped it up a bit more by using my buddy's 24' single car enclosed trailer with car and equipment from College Park, MD to Mechanicsville, MD for the races that weekend. The trailer had a 2800-3000lb car, 55 gallon drum of race fuel, two 15 gallon fuel jugs(1 water, 1 race gas), tool cart, box of tools, a generator, floor jack, jumper box and misc other little things.

Used the weight distribution/sway hitch system and it worked like a charm. combined with the trailer brake controller and a steady 50-60mph and some uphill coaxing everything seemed to work out. Only about 3-5 major inclines on the trip, but the truck performed great. I was very pleased. This is my first pull with the 24' enclosed, so the sway and turbulence from passing big rigs was intimidating at first, but its nothing too bad at all. I was very proud of the Hoe!! :D

here is "Big Black Bertha" and some more pics
