speed censor i think

i am not sure if its a normal problem but it is highly anoying. sitting int the driveway right now it sais i am going 95. somtime it sais 120. just wonderin if its a comman problem or not. and how hard it is to fix myself. prolly can't fixe it soon cause leaving for basic training but when i get back its on. any help on price and difficulty would help soo much) thanks

If that is your only symptom, then more than likely it is a bad gauge. There would be other problems if the speed pulse was incorrect or not working at all.

Speedo - You have what is called a stepper motor going bad. Pretty common and easy to fix. Back side of the instrument cluster has one of these motors for each guage. A little bit of solder and soldering iron/ $6.50 worth of parts/ half an hour worth of work. :thumbsup:
