Just bought 06 lt Tahoe, The Tahoe is green/blue color seems it changes with different light and angles...anyway the fr/Rear bumpers have chrome..is there anyway to paint that to match the factory paint..

06 Tahoe, 12k miles, every option in that year.

Its doable but costly. there are two ways.....

1. You can buy "ready to paint" metal bumpers (ie ebay)

2. You can have your original factory bumbers dipped in acid (to remove the chrome) and then resealed, primed, and then painted.

The paint is available at the dealer and is called "Bermuda Blue" Available on 05 and newer Hoes, Burbans, Avies, Yukons, (not sure if the Denali had this color option) and Slades. The EXTs and Avies look exceptionally tough with this color. Especially the 07-up Avies. Not to talk bad, but i didnt like the way this color looked on the GM-800 Hoes unless it was a Z71.(So im guessing you share my opinion too and thats why you want to paint your bumpers to match) Bermuda Blue is nice for a monochrome look where the only chrome is on the door handles, running boards, roof rails, mirrors, and fender vents (if you simply must have that Slade look)
