GM IPOD Lockpick

Has anyone else purchased the GM IPOD Lockpick from Coastaletech? Here is my problem:

Since putting it in, something seems to be frying my IPOD NANO's. My 2nd one to go just went today. I replaced my other one 2 weeks ago. It was working on my ride home today, but when I took it out just now, it has no power and won't power up when connected to power. Which is exactly what happended before. I did disconnect my battery today, would that have affected it if the IPOD was connected? When it crashed before, the battery wasn't disconnected.

Any suggestions?

I called JP Customs and they helped me resolve the problem. When your IPOD doesn't seem to power up, press the menu button and the center button for 5-10 seconds and this resolves the problem.
