i have a 2002 tahoe and i am going to have the vehicle dyno tuned. the guy doing the tuning said i will have the best results on the quarter mile if i use the tow haul system to change the shift characterisics for track use only and keep the regular shift mode for street. unfortunately as of about a week ago my tow haul system has stopped functioning completely. it used to only turn on/off when in park but now not at all. the light does not even come on. anyone experienced this before. i need to fix it before i have it tuned. in case anyone is wondering i am having it tuned by performance dyno in concord NH. he has done some worlk for me before and he specializes in late model GM trucks.
