Power programmers

I was looking around online at them and so far, for an '01 5.3L, I've found the: Superchips Flashpaq, Hypertech Power Programmer III, and Jet Chips Power Programmer. Then I found the Granatelli Predator Flash Series Engine Programmer. Is the engine programmer the same thing as a power programmer? I only ask because they were listed as 2 different categories on the same web site. And is there a distinct difference between them, or do they all pretty much do the same thing?

I would also look at a custom tune,The programmers are costly and unleess you need several driving condition options a custom tune is a lot less expansive

There are many out there but I think the most popular a Hypertech and Superchips. I would start there and read up about what kinda tuen you are looking for.
