Rear view mirror issues in '02 hoe

I posted this thread in the 07+ forum... sorry.

Anyways, the temperature/compass display in my rear view mirror has quit working all of the sudden. I've tried turning the mirror off and back on and i've also attempted to just turn the display on and off to no avail. The green on light is lit, so I don't think it's a fuse. Any thoughts?

Maybe the VF (light) or power supply for the VF is out. May end up being cheaper to replace entire mirror than repair.
