Windshield wiper tension

My passenger wiper has a little ring that a spring connects to, that creates tension to keep the blade tight against the windshield. But my driver side does not, any ideas where I can get this ring or a quick fix I can do myself? Any info is much appreciated.

FYI I have a '03 Tahoe

I don't think you can get that as a seperate part. You may have to replace the entire wiper arm assembly or come up with another way to attach the spring. I haven't looked closely at mine, but if I come up with an idea to make it work, I'll let you know.

cool, yeah I was looking a little more in depth at it, and that seems to be what I'll have to do more than likely. Replacing the entire assembly.....thanks JK :yesnod:
