Re-setting "change oil" sensor

hey guys, any help will be apreciated. .. Everytime I start my Tahoe, the "change oil" sensor stays on for about 5 seconds, then stays off forever... is that something that needs to be reset? or is the sensor just reading funny ?

the oil is changed every 2,000 miles..

It tells you how to reset in your owners manual..

turn key on, dont start
pump gas pedal 3 times it will flash "chg eng oil" then go away

-Done

Thanks guys .... I have no owner's manual with my Tahoe, is there an online manual anywhere ??
