Towing Capacities

Hello all....First of all I've found quite a few good tips on this board so far. We just bought our '05 Tahoe last month and have enjoyed it immensely to say the least!

My question is about towing. We bought the 4x4, 5.3 model and are looking to pull a 23 foot toy hauler. Are any of you pulling anything this big or am I stretching the limits? The trailer is listed as 5200lbs.

Is it equipped with the towing package ?

Yeah it has trailer package.

I own an 02 Yukon 4wd with the 5.3L engine and equipped with the towing package. I had no problem towing a 6500 pound Hilo travel trailer that was 22 feet long. My Yukon has a towing capacity of 8000 pounds. I had enough power to pass cars going uphill.
