97 Tahoe...Brakes Locking Up Sometimes

Not sure whats going on here. My pads and rotors are good. ABS seem to be working fine(no lights on). But I notice when coming to the end of my braking the brakes seem to lock up. I can even hear a weird noise, almost like the ABS is kicking in but I see no lights on the dash. Please tell me someone knows whats this issue.. Thanks:mad2:

common problem is build up of dirt/grim on front abs sensor mounting area. sensor moves away slightly and braking is comprimised. take the sensors out and clean them off as well as the mounting area. see if that works. east to do.

Sorry I don't know why they walk up, but I do know that the brakes SUCK on the 97 body type Hoe's!! I wish I had replaced them with a disc brakes all around rather than the drums in the back and discs in front! :Chevy:
