What is the max tire size, height and width and rim size allowed on a stock 95 4x4 yukon. May lift later but need a starting place. I was told 33x12.5 on a 15 or 16 rim. Thanks fellas.

stock it'll have a 32" tall tire. depending on your rim offset 12.50's may rub a bit.

my truck is lifted and my 35x12.50's rub slightly on the backs of the front fenders (mostly on the factory running boards). if i would have gotten rims that were offset a little more they would clear fine.

285 75 16 will rub only if u compress suspension fully while turning. 33x12.5 will fit with very minimal rub but only if u have a narrow rim width or as 96procomptahoe says u get some offset on your wheels. if u are using stock wheels, u should get 315/75/16 because they are huge (looks great) and will only rub slightly when u turn the wheels ALL the way. plus, when u lift it u won't have to buy new tires right away b/c they will still look good

305/65/16 = 33x12.50/16 and 315/75/16 = 35x12.50/17

most 305s are about 32.5" tall and most 315s are about 34.5" tall

only interco and serious mud tire company's 305s and 315s measure a full 33 and 35 inches

i would say go with 285s honestly, but 315s are sick

do u have your torsion bars cranked up a bit?
