Radar Detectors

I currently have an escort passport 7500 radar laser detector but I feel it is a little bit out dated. I would really like to upgrade. I have been looking at detectors for a few months now and have narrowed it down to the escort passport 9500i and the valentine one. Do any of you know anything about these?

i have a couple buddies that have the valentine radar detectors, supposedly whenever there is a new type of laser/radar the police come out with you send your unit in and they update it free of charge. they are supposed to be "the best" ones out there.

i have an older cobra model in my tahoe, my trucks to big to drive overly fast in... haha

how much will one set you back though ??
