I will soon be putting on a leveling kit onto my 99' tahoe to get a few inches and then a set of 33 in. tires. i am riding on 245 75 16 stock and going to a 285. i was probably going to get a decent programer to recalibrate the speedo and adjust the trans along with having other benefits, but i was wondering if anyone knew of shops that can recailbrate for bigger tire changes to save me 300-400 dollars for a little while. i havent had luck with tire shops which i guess is obvious, so i willl try some auto/custom shops tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone has had any experience to point me in the right direction.
-thanks

Good luck, I gave up on my 07 and purchased a hypertech programmer.

I know that you can take your Tahoe to the dealership and they can re-program it for the new tires. A programmer isn't a bad way to go if you are looking to do additional modifications to your Tahoe; intake, exhaust, pulleys.
