Wassup? So my Tahoe is in the shop because of the blown gasket... it turned out that my Tahoe will be getting a remanufactured engine because of the coolant that got into the engine.... so what i have understood about remanufactured engines is like having a new engine.... so it will be like having a new tahoe... now my question is this... what would be the steps on breaking in the engine???? i would like to get opinions from the tahoe enthusiasts!!!! thanks.:cool2:

don't go over 2500 rpm or 55mph for the 1st 1000 miles i think. never had a new motor so not sure. i know that my dad did the above with his new big dog custom motorcycle to break in the engine. i think he changed the oil after 1000 miles too.

it was a 107 c.i.d. TP engine with really hi compression
