Air Bag Light On

A friend of mine has a 97 Tahoe. His air bag light just came on. I told him to check fuses.

Any other recommendation to check before he takes it in.

Dont drive too close to the steering wheel. No im just kidding, i dont know what the issue is, but i just had mine flashing a couple times the other day after i had taken my dashboard apart to get back to the radio and cd player wires. so if you get an answer please post.
