Just bought a 2004 Tahoe, 113K miles.

For a used vehicle the truck is in great condition, bu I'm not sure what maintenance/upkeep has been done on the vehicle. I plan to keep for as long as it will run so I would like to get a maintenance schedule going.

Can anyone point me to a link for the recommended maintenance on the Tahoe?

Maintenance Schedule
The following maintenance intervals are base on the assumption that the vehicle owner
will be doing the maintenance or service work, as opposed to having a dealer service
department do the work. These are the minimum maintenance intervals recommended by
the factory for vehicles that are driven daily. If you drive in dusty areas, tow a trailer, idle
or drive at low speeds for extended periods or drive for short distances (less than four
miles) in below freezing temperatures, shorter intervals are also recommended.
Every 250 Miles or Weekly, whichever comes first:
-Check Engine Oil level
-Check Coolant level
-Check Windshield Washer Fluid level
-Check Brake and Clutch fluid levels
-Check Tires and Tire Pressures
Every 3000 Miles or 3 months, whichever comes first:
-Check Power Steering fluid levels
-Check Automatic Transmission Fluid level
-Change Engine Oil and Filter
Every 6000 Miles or 6 months, whichever comes first:
-Check Seat Belts
-Inspect windshield wiper blades
-Check and service the battery
-Check engine drivebelt
-Inspect underhood hoses
-Check cooling system
-Rotate the tires
-Check lubricant level in the front and rear axles
Every 15,000 Miles or 12 months, whichever comes first:
-Lubricate the chassis
-Check the fuel system
-Check the brake system *
-Check the exhaust system
-Check the transfer case lubricant level
-Replace the interior ventilation filter *
Every 30,000 Miles or 30 months, whichever comes first:
-Change the brake fluid
-Replace the air filter *
-Replace the fuel filter
-Replace the spark plugs **
-Service cooling system (drain, flush, refill) (green colored ethylene glycol anti-freeze)
-Check the steering, suspension, and driveaxle boots
-Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter **
Every 60,000 miles or 48 months, whichever comes first:
-Change the transfer case lubricant
-Inspect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve
-Change the differential lubricant **
-Replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve
Every 100,000 miles or 60 months, whichever comes first:
-Inspect/Replace the spark plug wires
-Service cooling system (drain, flush, refill) (orange colored DEX-COOL anti-freeze)
* This is something affected by “severe†driving conditions: dusty areas, towing a
trailer, idling for extended periods, driving at low speeds when outside temps remain
below freezing and most trips are less than four miles long. If your driving conditions
are considered “severe,†it is recommended to replace these items marked with an
asterisk (*) at half the recommended interval.
** Perform this procedure at the recommended interval if operated under one or more
of the following conditions: heavy city traffic where the outside temps regularly reach
90 degrees F or higher in hilly or mountainous terrain, frequent trailer towing, or if
the vehicle has been driven through deep water.

Welcome to the neighborhood!

Let me know if I can help with the scheduled maintenance stuff. Brakes, fluids, filters, custom maintenance schedule you can download and begin using right off the bat to start your own maintenance records... etc
