Loss of XM signal with remote start

Weird situation, but when I use my remote start in the morning-cold in Illinois-and then start my vehicle with the push button-I do not have an XM signal. I have tried turning off the radio or switching stations and nothing works. Now, after about 1/2 hour of driving or so, if I change back to the station it works. Anyone experience anything like this? The vehicle is outside and not in a garage.
