My 2001 Tahoe has just recently started only blowing out hot air. The fan variable switch is working fine. The mod switch is working fine also. It is the temperature switch that no matter if it is on hot, cold, or anywhere in between I only get hot air. The rear controls are the same way. The A/C system isn't working at this time do to a leak in the system, which has been that way for a little while now, but I should still be able to get cool air by turning the temperature switch to cold. Has anyone else had this problem?

Just FYI,
You're posting in the 2015+ section, maybe get more response in the 2001 forum.

Is your compressor coming on? If not, I had an issue with my A/C switch on the dash/controls in my 2005 H2 that caused the problem.

If your a/c is not working then the best you may be able to get would be ambient air temp. Sounds like a problem with a blend door actuator or signal to it from switch.
