dropping my 96 2 Door

Hello everybody. I have been looking at drop kits for my newly aquired Tahoe (2 door 2WD). I'm not looking to scrape pavement but I do want to give it a little better stance. My choice so far is the DMJ lower controle arms and the drop shackles and hangers. This should give me 2 to 3 inches and i get to keep my stock springs and shocks. Any body have any thoughts on this before I order. Thanks
