I dont have pillar tweeters nor a sub...

In your front door is there... a tweeter... and then slightly below is a 5 inch or something?

nope its just a 5" speaker, and the little tweeter is in the a piller, must be the difference between the standard and bose radio.

00-02 models, standard Bose and premium Bose:
One 6.5" full range driver in each door
One tweeter in each front door
One 3.5" full range in each d-pillar
One 8" sub in rear left inner quarter panel trim.
Total of nine speakers.
Base optioned audio systems will not have the sub.

03-06 Bose models have the tweeters in the a-pillars and a 6" sub underneath the center console.

the non bose on the 03 and up. had the tweeters with the speakers in the door. so his must be non bose then. which means no subwoofer in the console either.

do you have cloth or leather??

on the side does it have SLT, or does it just say nothing. you may even have an SL. but its most likely an SLE

It doesnt have a SLT sticker that i remember... Im upstairs at work.. but i dont have bose... i dont have pillar tweeters or a console woofer...

I have leather seats in mine... I think its a sle... but im not even sure...

So in the door... the is a tweeter... and then a traditional speaker? thats what i think i saw through the cover.. but i wasnt positive... cause Im thinking of component speakers... and i didnt know where to put the damn tweeter.. lol

I don't think all Bose trucks have the sub in the center console. In my 04 burb with Bose, its in the back.

Kool... so i can easily do my component speakers... I'm a musician... and I love clarity and bass so I have to get this taken care of.... right away...

I was wondering how i would do the tweeters in a component speaker set but now I know that there is a place for them already...

how many more speakers do i have? and where?

ok.... JK.. Maybe you know why... or if im wrong...

Went to crutchfield.com and they said in a 2005 yukon this is what i have
front speakers-6-3/4
rear speakers- 6-3/4
rear pillar Tweeter

is it reallt 6-3/4 or 6.5 cause the speakers i want dont come in 6-3/4 and im tryin to clear up the confusion...

They are technically 6 3/4". Only a few companies make "oversized" 6.5" for applications like ours. A 6.5" speaker will go in perfectly fine without any probs. Our stock speakers are held in place by two tabs at the bottom and a clip at the top, so you will have to use self-tapping screws to mount your new speakers, or drill a small hole and use screws and speed clips.

cani change the center sub to a 10"

JL Audio has a stealthbox that fits in the center console for a 10in. sub
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stealthbox_pages.php?page_id=168

Also, MTX has a thunderform enclosure that fits in the left rear panel panel that can fit a 10 inch as well. The Thunderform Enclosure can be purchased with an MTX sub or just the enclosure box itself and you can choose your own 10in. sub to put in the enclosure
http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/enclosures/thunderform.cfm

If you are wanting to keep the factory look without sacrificing any space this may be the way to go...not unless there are other options out there
