Hello all,

My buddy has been helping me with some yardwork this week. Today, his 98 Tahoe (w/350) wouldn't start in my driveway. We did some troubleshooting, and it appears to be a fuel delivery problem (we got it running by spraying some fuel into the throttle body). We changed the fuel filter, but that didn't help. I don't think it's the fuel pump, as when we disconnected the fuel filter there was quite a bit of fuel spray from the line. Any ideas for a next step? Thanks!

I had the same problem. Had my Fuel Pressure Regulator changed. Worked for about a week then same problem. After that, I had the distributor cap and rotor cap changed. Fixed!!!! Try your caps first. Much cheaper.

Those fuel pumps are notorious for going haywire. Maybe the spray you noticed was from a bit of pressure built up in the line.
