for me, I put in the front and rear doors the shallow mount Infinity 6022SI
they sound cool, and fit right in with no mods. just drill screw to hold them in.

make sure in the front you leave enough wire to open and close the window all the way.

Almost any 6.5" component set will fit. I've installed just about everything in these body style trucks; Infinity, Memphis, MB Quart, Focal, Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, and a/d/s components.

you have to sure that the speaker is no more than 2 1/4 mounting depth
are else or that white stopper on the window will hit the magnet

when you let it down or you can put a spacer between the sprk and door
for clearence. (NOTE) The front door sprks won`t sound good with
the windows all the way down because the glass is so close to the spkr
it almost like the backwave cancels the front wave.

i solve that problem i bought a pair of plastic baffles for them and put holes
on the side of the baffles and i still had to heat them up to form it so the
white stopper wouldn`t hit it. the foam baffles at crutchfield to big.

just my op

gutted maf = removing the honeycomb from the Mass AirFlow sensor for better airflow

any 6.5" speaker will fit the front doors. crutchfield sent some speaker brackets with my kenwoods but the brackets sucked and didn't even fit. i drilled holes to mount them and haven't had any problems. they sound great.

I fit some 6.5" diamond components in mine no problem, even fit the tweeters in the stock panel in the doors but you can mount them higher for better imaging. I sound deadened both doors and they sounded great with my kicker sx500.2 on them.

That's the factory Bose setup? Wonder if I can get the door pannels to fit in my 4door LT?

Hadwarz

Thats the factory door. Bose or non bose its the same for my generation. I;m not sure how diff your doors are but I was showing mine to give people some ideas and just to get a visual. I put the tweeters and new speakers in the door. The stock bose tweeters are up in the pillars near the windshield. Which I still have em hooked up.

tast101- those pics are out of your 03?
