Quick question, I have the opportunity to get a set of 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche running boards for free and I am wondering the difficulty of putting them on my 1997 Yukon. I know the wheelbase is longer on the Avalanche vs. the Yukon (117.5 (Yukon) 130.0 (Avalanche)) however, the running boards are shorter than the full length on the Avalanche.
I am natuarally a cheap bastard and a slight modification to the boards, and a little time to make them fit sounds waaaay better than spending $$$ on getting a set new.
