Is my 07 Yukon Amplified?

I have an 07 SLE yukon. The dealer window stick said that it came with the "bose premium speaker system". My tweeters in the pillars say Bose on them but none of the other speakers do. Also, the factory head unit doesn't say bose on it anywhere. So, what is the verdict, is my stereo amplified or not? Also, I have Onstar as well, if it matters.

I am upgrading to a pioneer z2. so I need to know which harness to get for my oem set up.

Your stereo is amplified, albeit poorly. If you go to crutchfield's website it will tell you which adapter you need. But for a little more than the head unit you can upgrade the audio as well.

You'll need GMLAN-02 adapter.....
PAC steering wheel control adapter....
This is all on top of the head unit

What about this harness; PAC OS-3BOSE. Will this work? Who makes the GMLAN-02?

I think Metra........ I would go to crutchfield and put in your vehicle info and it will tell you exactly what adapter you need. Then buy it from somewhere else cheaper
