I want to purchase a new tahoe 2007, dealer says no current rebates. Will sell at invoice minus a $2000 discount given to dealers from gm. Is this good, last month we had a $3000 but no extra warrenty? I am given a retail of $39750, invoice $36378-$2000= $34378. Is this a good or just adverage price?

It's business as usual. The new Tahoe is hot so they jack up the price and give a perceived value by way of a rebate. If you look at the past trends in Tahoe sales, it falls right in line. The value will drop off 5-10K (depending on trim level) as soon as you drive away. When the sales start to even off, the price will come down creating yet another perceived value and so on and so on. But man, you gotta love the looks you'll get when rollin' an '07!!
