Power liftgate question?

Is it possible to disable the power liftgate? I prefer not to get one, but if I have to because of availability, can it be disabled...I can see pulling into my garage, shutting the garage door and accidentally opening liftgate having it hit the garage door resulting in damage.

Also, if I go with bucket seats, is it possible to disable the 2nd row bucket seat power feature that folds it up? What happens if a 2 year old is sitting there and you hit the button....guess you got a pancake kid...

Yes you can disable it from the overhead console in my LTZ. I have got mad as heck because the darn thing wouldn't open with the trigger. Come to find out I had put it on manual operation.

I don't think you can but I haven't looked to do it so maybe.
