I finally got the ccm 2.5" level kit with the 1" rear spacer and now want to throw some new tires to complete the look.

I have the 18" wheels and can't find a good tire size that won't kill my factory wheel backspacing(i've tried the search function also).

Any of you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks,
O2bwln

285/65r18 BFGoodrich All terrains or anything equivalent to that....i wouldn't go any bigger than that...

I also have 2.5" leveling kit and 1" rear, and i am running 285/55/r20s BFGs and had rubbing problems....I had to do some trimming cause of the width and back spacing.

But with the stock rims you should not have any rubbing with the 285s.

O2bwln, please post some pics and a review of the lift (off-road preferably).

Thanks!

FWIW, i'm running 285/70/17s BFG TAKOs with only a 1.5 inch front leveling kit and nothing out back... BFG makes a 305/65/18s, and i bet that would fit on stock wheels (~1 inch taller and 0.5 inch wider than mine).

I dont remember how wide the stock 18s are though, might wanna make sure a 305 wouldn't be too wide.

Oh, and there's a few pics up of a couple guys running 305/55/20s with your leveling kit too...

On an 18' wheel, a 265/70 will work with no problems and that is about 33" (maybe 32.6"). The problem of going to 275/70 (getting you to just over 33")is getting into D rated tires (running 55 to 65 lbs of air) and getting quite a stiff ride. I agree with getting it wider but you may need to do some trimming, which is something I wanted to avoid.
