Topic heading pretty much says it all… Wondering whether the Navigation system screen that 07 Tahoe comes with will allow you to view a DVD on the same screen (clearly not if the navigation is being used at the time).

If husband is driving on long trip and wife wants to watch DVD while sitting in passenger seat, can she watch the DVD on the navigation screen?

Seems like there should be some laws for viewing movies in the front seat – HA HA

If this is not possible, does anyone know anything about an aftermarket navigation/DVD system?

Thanks,

Matt

DVD or Navigation

NO...NO

You are correct there are laws against it. That is why Chevy doesn't allow it. The would be lowable for it in a wreck.
She can sit in the back though and watch it with the cordless headset's on!
 :eek2:

There are two ways to watch a DVD in the front seat. One is on a laptop or separate DVD player. The other is with an aftermarket device that defeats the interlock. Due to legal liability, I'll let someone else tell you what it is.
