ac problem

My girlfriend has a 2003 tahoe and the other day when turning the ac on it no longer comes out of the upper vents. It will come out of feet and defrost but when it is on facial vents the air comes out of the defrost vents. Air still blows cold but i was wondering how to fix this. Thanks

Unless you are mechanically inclined and feeling very ambitious, I would take it to the dealer. It may be something like a damper sticking, or something electrical like a switch or wiring issue.

I am pretty good with cars but I have never messed with ac before so I am going to get it checked out. Thanks for the help though and the welcome.
