Does anybody know if the factory stereo w/o Bose system have a remote output wire which will automaticaly turn on/off aftermarket amplifiers?

Sure, AOEM-GM1416. If you aren't in a hurry, I may ordering a new stereo later this week, which would require a different adapter. You could have mine on the cheap.

Alright that is fine with me, just hold onto it so when I'm ready to do my aftermarket swap (maybe in 2 weeks or less) i'll PM you.

Wait, what? You can't use this with an aftermarket HU... Am I misunderstanding?
